How do you load the tape in the Tape Wrangler ProSeal 200D?

To start, remove the yellow hub/tension adjuster from the device. With our design, we feel it works best if you make a ‘pony tail’ with the free end of tape and then feed it through to the roller LIKE THIS. Then tighten the hub to provide the tension that feels ‘right’ to you. Finally, pull the tape up, over the roller and cut it at the blade. Now, you are ready to go!

The Tape Wrangler ProSeal 200D doesn’t really look like a “regular” packaging tape gun – why did you make it so different? How does it work?

When we designed our Tape Wrangler ProSeal 200D, we wanted to solve all the problems folks have with the old school tape gun. First, we gave it a “holster” so we can find it when we need it & it is out of the way when we don’t. Next we added on-board tools. Typically, when we seal boxes, we are usually marking them, measuring something and even cutting boxes open. We wanted to have those tools – but still make our tape gun better balanced, lighter and more ergonomic. Most of all, sometimes, we wanted our shipping tape dispensed a piece at a time – like a desk-top tape dispenser. To accomplish that, we made the press plate slide out of the way and engineered the gun to load “backwards” into the holster & ‘lock’ in place – it works like a charm!
